I grew up in a small town, well technically in the woods outside of a small south Alabama community, where I was every thing from valedictorian, state champion gymnast, cheerleader, Girls State rep, and Trumbauer drama winner to the Alabama ambassador at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation World Leadership Congress.

I know, it’s rather sickening being the classic over achiever, but oddly I wasn’t too worn out for college.  I’m a Summa Cum Laude graduate from the University of Alabama with a BS in Business Management and Minor in Dance.  The highlight of my four years at Bama (ROLL TIDE 2009 & 2011 National Champs!) was winning Miss University of Alabama, a preliminary in the Miss America organization.  I also thoroughly enjoyed working as a NASCAR spokesmodel. I’m sure it had everything to do with meeting so many famous drivers!  I received my Master of Business Administration from the University of Mobile.  I owned a dance studio until my two children came along. Now, I stay busy running them to way too many activities and working as a pageant coach, dance choreographer, professional emcee and model, and certified Miss America judge. On the writer side of things I’m a member of Romance Writers of America & the  Gulf Coast Chapter of RWA.

I still live in Alabama smack dab in the middle of my hometown and the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast.  What could be more perfect?  I work out religiously to compensate for my sweet tooth and Barq’s Root Beer habit. White Christmas is one of the greatest movies of all times. I love to watch Castle, Revenge, GCB, and shh! don’t tell anyone, but I’ve been watching One Life to Live  and General Hospital since was about five years old.  Maybe that’s where my love of romance started…
